Biography

Born in USA, 1963

Lifelong resident of the South Hills of Pittsburgh

Upon receiving my first Kodak Instamatic camera around age 10, I was bitten by the photo-bug. My Industrial Communications undergraduate degree from Robert Morris (then a college), included television and radio production, graphic design and of course photography.

While I spent the majority of my career in the business world working a "white-collar" job for a Fortune 500 company, I never put down my camera.

My original love was landscape and architecture, and then progressed to sports and dance. Portrait photography did not come into focus for me until my children reached high school. It was then that it occurred to me that maybe I could save myself some money and add a personal touch by doing their senior photos. I enjoyed this so much that I started to take photos of their friends, several of whom I then shot their senior photos. By the time my youngest graduated in 2015, I knew that I wanted to transition at some point from my "day job" to doing what I love.

My goal is to provide you with personalized service at a reasonable cost. I don't have the overhead or time constraints of a large studio which allows me to cater to your specific needs.
